Description:
Coriolus
is one of the three ingredients found in the Hep C Powder. When
someone has an elevated alfa-fetoprotein level, which is
a blood marker for liver cancer, we use Coriolus full strength. Coriolus
commonly called Turkey Tails in this country, is one of the
most commonly used products in China and Japan. It’s
primary action is through its polysaccharide content. Alchemist
Lab Coriolus is a 20-1 hot water extract, made from mycelium
grown on sugar cane bagasse, that concentrates the polysaccharides.
Alchemist Lab uses sugar cane bagasse as the mushroom mycelia
strip out anti-viral lignans from the bagasse. They also
taste better. Content ranges for different batches were 32%
to 42% polysaccharides. Polysaccharides have side chains
of bet-glucans branching off a backbone structure of linear
glucose molecules. Different immune cells have receptor sites
for beta-glucan. Not all beta-glucans are created equally,
depending on solubility, primary structure, molecular weight,
and branching for their effectiveness. Beta-glucans from
medicinal mushrooms are much more effective than those derived
from yeast.
