Cautions:
Acetyl Glutathione
chelates heavy metals and trace mineral supplementation is
recommended for high doses.
Product
Description:
Dosage for the
acetyl glutathione is 3-6 capsules once a day or
once every other day. This can be taken at
anytime, with meals or between. The dosage
of 3 capsules per day is for longevity and well-being,
whereas the 6 cap dose is for a more serious illness
such as hepatitis or cancer. This medicine
has a long half-life in the body and can be taken
every other day if cost is an issue. Also
glutathione is a powerful chelator of heavy metals
and can deplete trace minerals as well. It
is recommended to take a trace mineral supplement
with this product.
Hepatitis C is disease of oxidation.
The Hep C Virus is not directly cytotoxic. It
is a cellular immune response to the presence of the virus that generated a ROS
reactive oxygen species that subsequently damages the liver.
Glutathione
is the main intracellular antioxidant found in the liver. Raising
intracellular glutathione is strongly protective and anti-inflammatory
for the liver. This
product is very cleansing of toxins including heavy metals
which have a very pro-inflammatory effect on the liver.
It is the first medicine we use for chemical sensitivity
when people are not processing toxins well. Glutathione
is also the anti-oxidant protections for red blood cells
and this will tonify the blood and build strength.
Acetyl-glutathione
is a compound normally found in a human body, as an analog
to the potent antioxidant, reduced glutathione. Glutathione
is of course a potent intracellular antioxidant, and its
depletion is a component of every chronic disease, or inflammatory
condition, including aging. Reduced glutathione
is acted upon by peptidase almost immediately in the blood
and tissues and thus loses its ability to enter cells and
act intracellularly. This happens
in a very short period of time and thus IV glutathione
while having a remarkable impact on metabolism is short
lived. Inhalation of glutathione has shown
promise in COPD and emphysema and we believe that this
continues to be a valuable tool; however, continual inhalation
treatment along with oral acetyl-glutathione supplementation
seems to work much better.
Acetyl-glutathione which can be acetylated
at anyone of the three possible positions of the tripeptide,
is made by the liver and transported to all other tissues.
It is easily assimilated intracellularly and then can
perform its powerful antioxidant and metabolic regulatory
effects without prior decomposition by peptidases. It
has been found that Acetyl-glutathione is absorbed orally
and is transported to all tissues of the body with remarkable
anti-aging effects, anti-viral effects and in some studies
an effect on some cancers. More and more is being
discovered about this remarkable compound. Studies
are ongoing in the use of this product in HIV infections,
most cancers and all inflammatory diseases.
